Default My first Mahi!

Went out this morning down in Navarre, come to find out theres a turnament already taking place so I decided to go west a couple miles away from everyone. Water was calm at first, got a little rougher around 40ft. Trolled a northern macrel (looks simular to a cig) for 30 mins till I got tangled up with a decent size remora. Hooked on another northern and about 20 mins later the line starts screamin!!! He took 3 solid runs, gave my arm a nice workout and then farted around the yak for a few mins before he gave up! Never knew they went ghost white right before they die, it was crazy to watch the transformation! 26.5" and 6.2 lbs

Very nice! Congrats! I had one ready to be pulled into the kayak the other day and it gave a final tug and got away. Good job!

That's what makes fishing so much fun.
Congrats.
I remember mine a few years ago.
Caught it at the Allen reef trolling for kings
