Default Multiple Species North of Jim's

Hey everyone,

Made it home for Thanksgiving this past week and I, of course, got out in the yak as much as possible. I put in and paddled north of Jim's Fish Camp to try and hunt down some reds.

My dad and I found a small creek and it wasn't long before we got into the fish.

It was my first Chain Pickerel, and it wasn't long afterwards that I also landed a small largemouth.

Just before we left, I managed to pull in a small red and a little trout as well.

Fished quite a few more times over the break and even managed 20+ trout on the fly in one evening. For the full report and more pictures, check the blog at

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. Till next time,

Fish on,
