Default More sharks

Made it back out today at 1030 tide was ripping but once out of the pass it was smooth sailing. 20 minutes in a big spinner grabs the blue runner head and does an aerial show but come unhooked. 20 minutes later land a 4.5-5 foot blacktip. After that shark I couldn't keep a bait in the water longer than a minute. At one point I hadn't close my bail and was hooked up. All in all 5 sharks- 4 blacktips and 1 one fine tooth shark in 2 hours of work. Got tired so I decided to head in and grab a bite to eat. Hit the beach and threw out some cut lady fish. Caught this lemon shark within the first 30 minutes. The thing kicked my butt. Second lemon shark for me and both on castes baits.

That's pretty intense fishing. Seems they're thick right now. I've seen more sharks in my last few trips in the Gulf than all the other 25 or so kayak trips into the Gulf combined.

I think it's the water temperature. 75 degrees is ideal for them and they are very active all day long
