Christ now I have to mount my GoPro --- Great work bud! I'm sitting in Germany with the wind howling and about 3C (40F) tonight watching that video and LET ME TELL YOU - I wish I was there.

In the Video at 1:29 I can FEEL the elation of not dumping and that wave not breaking on you and the Revo - great boat and good launch video for those folks that haven't set out in 1-2" swells.

Keep it up and I'll be back in June for some Snappers and hopefully a Sailfish!

Nice Mahi and awesome launch video. Now you just need a good video of 4-5 foot swells on the return trip with a flip like I had two weeks ago. Lost a rod and two rod holders but it was still awesome. There was two of us and we both got tossed at the same time.

Keep those reels singing,

i woulda filmed re entry into the surf but the gopro died and i bailed and rode the yak in. pointless in riding those huge waves in cause your gonna get wet anyway. way i see it, id rather get wet by choice and all my gear stay dry lol

When you bail and ride it in, how far out are you compared to when you pull the pedals if not bailing?

Hope that made sense...I'm a newb

pull the peddles out. paddle a little ways till the surf just starts surfing you forward. then bail and push the kayak forward till it finally catches you and rides you in. be careful about the jerk on your arm. i hyperextended a muscle yesterday because it jerked me so hard
