Default Kings at Navarre?

I see the pier has had a decent run of kings last week. Anyone had luck in a yak? Over the past month I spent 3 days looking for them w no luck and I'm itching to get one to make some smoked mack dip!

I'm looking at going Sunday morning either Navarre or maybe Gulf Shores since its a bit closer. If anyone wants to meet up let me know, I prefer to not hit open water solo. Also, the pier cam at Navarre shows that the shallows are very dirty, is that because of dredging? Has that affected the bite?
