Default Jim's part deux

A little late launching at the public pier, paddled around he bend towards the x. Caught eleventy hundred of mostly keeper specks (did not keep any) on a gulp under a popping cork, Rapala "Twitchin Rap" (they were hammering this lure), then on the advice of Oxbeast, who I ran into going outm trolling back. Lost what were probably 2 decent redfish on the Rapala.

Really great day for me, thanks to all that shared this location etc...

Check out the area on google earth or maps, the Simpson River pier is on 90 just over the bridge from Jim's Fish Camp. X is an area about 1.5 miles north formed by two channels crossing... there is a Y as well...

Yes, sometimes it seems the faster you go the better. Not even touching the rod till the fish hits it.
