Default jims on fire

ive never river fished before so i went with john (chaps) up north this morning. fairly cold to start off and the bite was slow. quickly picked up with the temps and i ended up with around 10 or 11 reds most of which were slot. a few specks, up to 18in and lost a bull red. john got 4 reds for points as well as tons of specks too and he lost a flounder. great day on the water

Great chilly morning but the bite was hot. We worked grubs and a few different lures. Ended up with about 10 reds and over half were slot. The trout bite was great with many over 15". We left them biting for next time.

Went to Jims this afternoon and it was VERY SlOW. Caught 1 slot Red on topwater right at dusk. No other fish and only a few other bites.

Were yall West of the bridge or East?

Went up river a ways to the power lines. Didnt even see many mullet. No bites. Turned around and went East to a place that was loaded with Trout 2 weeks ago. No Trout, no Reds, threw Mirrodines, Topwater and dragged a DOA under a cork. No bites until almost dark.
