Default Jims 11/8 first time in my hobie

Got a late start today I picked up nathan70 around 6am was bout 7am by the time we launched. Took me a while to get used to peddling and figure out some little things on the hobie. Started out with a couple small trout. When the wind kicked up we headed closer inland.
While exploring I was trolling my bait just in case, Good thing I did cause I caught my only keeper for the day. I was sure it was a redfish but turned out to be a 23 inch speck.
The smaller one was around 15.5, Nathan got him the same way I caught mine

Nice speck. Just curious. If you don't me asking, what bait were you trolling with?
