Default Inshore slam. Almost

So we decided to put the kayaks in at Sanders beach and yeah that was a no go. So much boat traffic that I thought I was going to get ran over. So we relocated to Shoreline Park and what a good decision that was. It wasn’t long after we launched that was saw bait everywhere. I saw several redfish on the sandbar but they were not interested in anything I had to offer. We saw bait getting crushed by some kind a predator fish. Very excited is what we were. I switched over to a jig head and a gulp and it didn’t take long before I landed a 17 inch speckle trout.. He flopped and flopped and right out the kayak he went lol. Does it still count? So within a minute with the same jig and a fresh gulp I landed a sweet 14 in flounder. I managed to get him in the cooler. So I regrouped and went at it again. I could see the red. But before I could even try a boat swoops in right on top of me a gets it. Damn googans😡. So I decided then to just leave. So I almost had an inshore slam at shoreline park in less than an hour. Awesome!!

Sounds like a fun day although I hate playing frogger with boats, lol. I got some plastics to give you that will get stubborn redfish to bite next time we cross paths.
