Default Gulf Report 6-14

Yakntat and I got out before the crappy weather hit for the weekend. We limited out on red snapper, saw separate huge schools of triggers, red snapper, jack crevalle, AJ's, and spadefish that all came up nearly to the surface. Good day before the storm hit.

I ended up with couple snapper, couple of kings, and lost my battle with a beast of an AJ.

It was definitely time to get off the water but I didn't ever feel like it was dangerous. Any worse and maybe. Yakntat was nervous, but it might be a different feel in a Pro Angler vs. my Outback.

Couple more pics including the first 'drive-by' measurement pic ever recorded.

Thanks. I've been thinking of either an Outback or a Pro Angler. After watching Ginzu paddle in from 2.5 miles out and yak struggle here. You've convinced me that the Outback is the way to go.
