Default Great day at Jims 11/9

Well this is my last day of leave before getting back to work. lol since I work at whiting it just means no more fishing during the week . Anyway i went out with Nathan70 again we decided to try out some new spots and good thing we did We were trolling out bait again since its been working, the whole time we were moving the fish were biting. we caught our limit of specks and decided to try for reds . we finally found a school and I hooked up first and shortly after landing mine Nathan70 got his both 23 inches . His was missing a nice chunk of his back like something bite him some how he survived and healed up for nathan70 to catch him

Total between the two of us was :::::

10----- keeper specks 2 of them were over 20in
2 ---- 23 inch reds
released at least 20 specks and two rat reds

mostly trolling gulp shrimp

Really wanted a couple flounder, but they defeated me I don't really know
how to target them with artificial I usually catch them on accident..
any tips appreciated

Its pretty much the area area you see when crossing the bridge from Pace to pcola or vise versa on hwy. we call it Jim's because around the middle of it is Jim's fish camp boat launch and bait shop .
