Default Good Morning Top Water Surprise

I launched out first thing this morning in upper escambia armed with my top water. As I headed out towards the bay, I decided to stop at an area that looked fishy. About the third cast, my top water gets nailed. I figured it was a nice red but to my surprise it was this beautiful 25" speck. I couldn't believe it. I never would of thought the area I was in would produce a speck like that. I guess you never know. I fished for a couple more hours and managed a few more specks. There was a lot of bait around this morning with some trout blowing up on it.

Nice speck. Topwater bites are the best.
