Default Flipper ends my trip early....

FIshed black water this morning caught two red a 25 in and a 23 in. shortly after flipper decides to try to steal the red off the stringer and follow me back to the ramp... there must have been at least ten of them

That just (pardon me) SUCKS! They screw with us constantly offshore, I never knew they'd act that way inshore. You can take the boy out of the woods, but you can't take the woods out of the boy. I wish I had a nickle for every fish they've stolen from us. Legally, you can't do a thing about it either. The feds and the state don't see it as an issue. I see nothing "instinctual" about this behavior, it's simply learned bad behavior taught by the older ones to the younger ones. If we could legally remedy the problem, I thing the mammals would change their habits pretty quickly and find another way to exist.
