Default Escambia RR trussels

Launched at Archie Glover and went to the Rail Road Trussles. Caught a few Specks both undersize and slot, one small red. Was considering headed to the house, then....something drags me around one of the pilings. After going completely around the piling, I have a hard time gaining on it, and he's dragging me along the trussles. After what seemed longer than it was, I landed a 30 1/2 " red...Had to cut off a rattle trap I was trolling cause the red drug me around a piling and it hung up. I had my hands full with the fish and couldn't deal with the other line.....

Great job man. Those bulls can make for some epic battles around bridges. To all you guys considering Hobies vs paddle-yaks, those are the times the peddles make all the difference in the world. What do you say HankHill, could you have caught it without the foot power?

Feelin wright, Caught the big one on the bay, not in Muellat

Yakavelli, I just upgraded to a Hobie two days ago, and probably am still behind on the learning curve. While I was fightinh the big brute, I never even thought about peddling to pull it away from the bridge, duh,.
