Default decent night fighting the cold front and fish!

Launched in chico today and it started off slow hitting the dock lights. After nothing I went to a light I know produces and had quite a few hookups but none landed until my friend foul hooked a croaker. Right after that I get slammed and reel up an almost legal red. Moved to another light that didn't look to promising but decided to cast anyways. Right off the bat I get hit hard and simultaneously my friend gets hit too. Landed two nice specks and the bite died. Moved back to the last light and my friend gets slammed by the same red I had just released. Went back to the other light and managed another double header of specks. Paddled around a bit to the back of the bayou and had two fish that fought like hell get hooked but never got a chance to see them before they spit the hook. The wind made it almost impossible to make more than 1 cast without having to reposition. It was a fun and cold night for sure!

It might have been cold, but your catch of specks was worth it.
