Default Christmas Fish Report and Monday Also

One of the gifts I got my wife was a license renewal and a promise to go fishing this Christmas. So on Christmas day, we loaded the kayaks and went to a new place to fish. Jackpot! The Bite was on! We caught beween the two of us in the neighborhood of 30 specks. Nothing else. We ruled for the day that we would not take anything smaller than 16". I decided on nothing smaller than 17 inches for me. A few fish were 14", but most were 15" and bigger. My biggest was a 23 1/2" and Helens was a 21". I had to toss back 3 more over slots in the 21 to 22 range.

We went back there again today, with ponchos on. I caught around 15 fish and Helen about 10. I quit earlier and sat in the car. She fished on. I came in with a pair of 18" and lost an over slot at the yak worrying about wrapping my other line I had out and played the fish way to hard. Helen came in with 3 fish, 17, 18, 19. I didn't take pics of these as I was wore out from all the paddling I had been doing the last couple days.
