Default Bummer

So there I was, on the water at 0600 in my Ascend FS12T loaded out for a full day of fishing the grass around Mulat Bayou. After an hour on the water and only landing one rat red and a cat I noticed something a little "off" with the yak. Instead of the normal bobbing I noticed it sort of leaned to one side and just sit. I shift my weight just a little to the other side and same thing. I open up my dry storage hatch and the inside of the yak is about 1/3 filled with water. So I go back to the beach, unload everthing and turn her over to drain it and saw a small pin hole on the tail from dragging it through the rocks and sand several times over the last two years. Nothing with me to fix it with on the spot, so I loaded her back up and went to the house to patch her up. Should be good to go now, but ruined a day that held so much promise. Next purchase is a kayak cart, which I should have been using all along. Hope you all had better luck than I did!

On the few trips I've been able to make, I've wheeled my Kayak close to water then would drag it into water. Sounds like I need to watch it. I haven't had my Kayak but a few weeks would hate to wear a hole in it.

I drag my kayak everywhere! You won't baby it for long.

Carts are pretty cheap now, kayaks aren't.
