Fishing is excellent there especially on a wintertime negative tide because the fish have nowhere to hide. Once you launch paddle to the NW corner of the cove and start working the bank down north to south. If the fish aren't on the bank where it's skinny then head back up and work a little bit further off of the bank fan casting. 1/4 Johnson gold spoons and soft plastics are most productive. As is warms up the reds will become scarce up there and the rocket powered glitter boats will start showing up for bass. Sounds like BW has been on fire this year and I imagine there are still fishing holding in that area. Good luck.

Went out this morning and ended up heading to the bridge. Big specs were busting the top of the water in spurts. I was able to land 3 barely leagle specs but lost 3 huge specs at the yak. I will be investing in a net before my next trip. Sorry no pics. they were anything special but they will taste good tonight.
