Default 3 barges 6/29

Finally got a chance to get out and catch some fish. Snapper bite was tough at the barges with most fish being just over 16" managed to get a 19" and 17" not the best 2 fish I've ever had but this late in the season take what you can get. Trigger it's was on fire but they all seemed to be 13". any ideas on how to get past the smaller ones to get a keeper?

Yeah that area is tough, that's why I never fish it.
Good job getting legals on such a public spot.

Out of my league, but I thought trigger were off limits the rest of the season? Nice haul, and I am amazed at what yakers will go through to get some GOM action!

Triggers are open in state waters only.
