Even with the wind I have been able to stay on a few quality fish.

Yesterday resulted in three keeper Trout. The best was barely 17".

Today resulted in one keeper Trout, two Reds, and a small Chain Pickerel.

The fish have been very healthy and have all put up great fights.

Here's a few photos:

Matrix Shad in UV.

On another note: I lost a stud after a few minutes on my favorite lure. The fluke! Everyone knows when they are actively feeding they will eat anything!

I'm trying to go out after work. Where did you land these bad boys at? I've never been out on a kayak before trying to learn what to use and where to go to find them. Thank you for any info you can give.

Scott, if you have never been on a kayak before, today is not the day to start.

Paddling or pedaling?

I can't tell you where I was. If you are not within 100 yards of a wall of trees you won't be fishing very long.
