Beautiful weather and beautiful fish.

I launched in Navarre and did a bit of exploring. Then I decided I would go find a fish. I hooked up and landed one 21" Red. Three of his friends followed him all the way to the kayak.

After releasing the fish I went in search of a Trout. I found two! However, they were not willing to fully commit and I watched them disappear into the depths.

On a side note: I bought an Ardent Apex Elite baitcaster and I think I'm in love. Super light weight and unbelievably smooth. It cast into the wind effortlessly.

Did I mention it's pretty sexy?

Gotta love that touch of blue. Gorgeous fish, and the reel is pretty damn sharp too.

Nice fish and pretty reel ,but all bait casters spell backlash for me and bring out fits of the tourettes syndrome. #*@$! Lol

Sometimes they are not practical and sometimes fishing without them just isn't practical. Haha

They are a great tool to have with you, once you figure out how to use them.
