Default 28 Nov 12 Destin Inshore

Went out for a few hours this afternoon with some fiddler crabs.
The bite was fairly steady. The two bigger sheepies were 22" & 24".
I will probably throw a video together tonight or tomorrow from the footage I got today.

Making the video now. It should be posted tomorrow. I use bright colored 30lb braid main line (easier to detect bites and helps keep from line breakage on the pilings). Carolina rig with as light a weight as possible depending on current. 2-3 feet of 25 pound flourocarbon leader with a size 2 Owner Mosiquito hook. Tip with a live fiddler crab or live shrimp and fish as close to bridge pilings or jetties as you can (keep line tight so you can feel them bite). Learning when/how to work the hookset on them is the difficult part...

Wirelessly posted (Iphone 4s)

Nice. I like to use a dropper rig for sheepies so u can feel the bite better.

I've never tried the dropper on sheeps...does make sense. Think I will give it a try this winter.
