Default 28 Feb Rocky Bayou

Well after not being able to fish mid bay Saturday in the afternoon due to wind I decided Sunday that i would head to Rocky Bayou state park since it was a lil more secluded. Spent 2 hours there before the boat traffic got more than I liked... Tally for the day 3 keepers largest 16 1/2 smallest 15 1/2. All were caught on 3/8 jig head with fiddler crab.

boomyak and NLytle like this.

Great catches! Rocky had been extremely hit or miss recently, looks like you found the ticket!

Went back today with the wife and she got one fish riget at 18". We were using live shrimp and the pin fish were destroying them.

You should just be glad there is pinfish there! It's been hard finding bait.

I'd throw something smaller out and see if it isn't some tiny black snapper, 3 to 4 weeks ago we caught about a dozen but they were all under 10"
