Default 2/17/16 - Specks

I have been spending time on the water, just not posting pictures or reports.

I have found a few fish here and there but nothing of consistent size. Yesterday, I found a little better bite around noon. I landed two fish over 20" and easily caught a limit of 16"-18" fish.

The water temp started out at 56 and when I left it had just made it to 60. Here's a photo:

Gander mountain in Pensacola is having a huge clearance sale. Check these out:

The rods typically run $110-120 and I paid $69, $79, and $79. The reel typically runs $170 and I paid $140. Go shopping!

This morning was my first experience. I caught a few quality fish and overall I'm really impressed. The casting, sensitivity, and backbone are all great. They look awesome and the quality is amazing.

I have always been a huge Abu Garcia fan, but in recent years I feel like there rods have been way to stiff. I believe I found a solid solution.

I didn't catch a fish on the Concept A, but it casts amazing.

Very nice report Nick!!!

I have a concept (c) on a GLX.... thats pretty much my Matrix Jigging setup needless to say I love it and catch lots of fish with it. Although I did upgrade the spool bearing to ABEC7's like I do most of my baitcasters. I might have to check out those rods I have a loner curado that needs a rod

I use all of the baitcasters stock until I take them to get serviced at Keith's. Then they come back full of ABEC7's.
