Default 1st 3mb trip of 2018 Tuesday 1-9-18

Launched around 8 pm. Water was a little muddy but not too bad. Ended up catching a lot of bull reds. All were sight casted. They were hitting top water lures. Biggest I caught was 35 inches.

Thanks for the report. Fixing to bite the bullet on a new 2018 outback. I am an experienced on a kayak, but not have been to 3mb at night. Question. How do you sight cast them at night? Are the bridge lights enough?

At night under the bridge when the water is clear and the bridge lights are on you can get directly under the bridge and see the reds plain as day. Itís actually pretty neat

Where are you launching with all the construction closing the ends of the bridge?
