Default 12/2

I got off work around 0730 and launched into the sound. (Fort Walton area).

I quickly caught a 14" Flounder on a fluke. 12/2-imageuploadedbytapatalk1417579655-327975-jpg

Then about a half hour later I landed a solid 23" Red on a swimbait. 12/2-imageuploadedbytapatalk1417579726-534915-jpg

I work mids and was to tired to care about setting the GoPro up, so no great photos.

I did find this guy in the sound: 12/2-imageuploadedbytapatalk1417579820-625139-jpg

Redfish for lunch and dinner. Now I'm headed back to work. My reports will continue to be few and far between.

Have a good night.

Working mids as well right now. It's been really nice the past few mornings as far as the wind goes. I live on the Sound in Mary Esther and my area has been crawling with nice slot sized redfish. Been throwing flies with no luck, but I'm about to start grabbing my spin rod and see what kind of damage I can do.

I was so tired the other morning I almost fell asleep in the kayak. I hope they are still feeding heavily when I return from this trip. I have yet to catch a Red on fly rod and its on my to do list.

Yeah. I have been pretty unsuccessful with throwing flies at them. I'm gonna keep at it and hope they eventually decide to eat.
