Had the opportunity to fish today so i took advantage of it. Honky Tonk and myself put in around noon. Was very slow for the first couple of hours. He caught a tiny red and i caught a 17 inch red that went back. Fished the grass and threw everything i had. Freeman left around three and i decided to stay. Ended up catching 9. What they finally started hitting was a mirror lure ive had in my box for a while. Got them from a friend who passed away. Didnt know how to retrieve it so i kinda just jerked it towards me. The Reds ended up just slamming it. Good day to be on the water. Freeman,, you just left to early !!!!!

What kind of body style is that? Skinny like a 17MR or a bit wider?

Nice report and photos. Thanks for showing the lure and the coin for scale of the size of the lure.

How do you retrieve it ?? It sank really fast. But the reds would hit it so fricken hard. He left me like 20 of them. Gonna use them from now on !!!!!
