Default 1-5-13 Blackwater

Fished this morning with Chase Crosby in Blackwater Bay. The water was completely blown out of most the marsh so it took a while to locate some good water depth. But once we found it it was on!!! The trout bite was hot! We ended up catching around 30 trout in the 16-21" range and a couple of redfish. Fish were caught on Exude Plastics, Slayer SSB, and DOA. Fish were hanging out in 3-6 foot if water.

Also check out the new Angler Up decals. You can purchase them now and the apparel will be ready for purchase next week!

I haven't been able to upload any pictures on the PFF for the last couple of days. Not sure if i'm doing something wrong or not but if you want to see a couple of pictures they are up on the GCKFA forum.

Awesome guys. We did pretty well once the tide started to move. We Caught quite a few trout and a slot red. We lost a nice red and a couple bigger trout. We picked up some on the troll and working drop offs with artificials. Stripers were a no show.

Went with chaps that morning and it was definately a nice morning on the water. Started slow as hell, managing a well underslot red during an ill attempt to hook up with some busting stripes. Unfortunately that was the last of em for the day. But headed further south And hooked up with chaps who had already landed 4 slot specs. I picked up one 17.5" spec just before meeting him, and lost a decent one next to the yak. Had to cut it short tho, and headed back north about 9 am, ended up with 4 specks and one red for the day. Not a bad morning for me at all. Enjoyed it chaps, ready for next sat! Sorry to hijack Jeff, but appreciate the report and glad to hear you guys did well too
