Default 1/14/16 - 1/19/16 BW and ICW.

Well...it seems I have lost the location of the big girls.

Bunch of successful outings up North but nothing over 17" to show for it.

Met a few people as normal and gave a few fish away.

I even did a little wade fishing in the sound this week. Unfortunately, I only caught one rat Red.

All fish were caught on a Paul Brown Original (10) and a 17MR (21).

This expression says everything:

Here's a Trout from today:

It's a stud, I know.

Anyone doing any good?

From looking at the two photos, it looks like you had a beautiful day on the water and you caught a few fish. Can't beat that.

I have it from an excellent source, LARGE trout still in BW, just NOT where you'd expect them. He told me and I was surprised he was catching fish where he told me.

I also saw photos of 6 stripers caught over the past 2 weeks, ranging from 10# to a nice 21# fish, again...not where I would fish for them...but pics don't lie.

This guy doesn't belong to the forum, never even logged onto the forum, so no pics. avail. for posting, but I saw them on his phone. It happened.

Gonna get me one this weekend.

I know they didn't leave the bay but they moved and I haven't found them yet!

You've certainly been putting in the time and have had some nice fish to show for it! We are all due a slow-up eventually. It'll pass

Yep I went last week and hit all the normal winter time spots and not a bite.... I don't know where the fish are in bw but they're not where they typically are this time a year. Any hints

The ups and downs of fishing Blackwater! Got a pretty good idea where they went just need to get back from offshore and give them a try.

Hints, hmmmm

If u fished shallow and then fished deep then perhaps that water is not what you seek.

salt water, shelter, current and bait...find these 4 and the day will be great.
