is there a gunsmith in the area who can install a raised comb in to a shotgun stock

Have you looked to see if there are shims that will work. I got a shim kit for mine to make it fit me better. If you're looking for more than that, look for complete replacements

Not sure if he does that type of work, but jj (jerome) Oneshot on the GCGF (gulf coast gun forum) is a darn good smith. I'm sure someone on here has his number. He's located a tad bit N of hwy 4 in jay.
