Default Best Intermediate Eye Scope

Good morning, everyone.

I picked up a Ruger Gunsight Scout earlier this year and have yet to throw some optics on top of it. I'm not looking to shoot anything outside of 300-400 yards, so a quick draw ier scope with around 10x that I can mount in front of the action should do the trick. I'm currently looking at the Vortex Crossfire II Scout, but I've been getting mixed reviews from my folks back home. Can anyone recommend a good scope for this rifle?

Thanks.

You are going to need a scope that has about 9" of eye relief. If I recall I don't think anyone makes a scout scope in 10 power. I think the most is 8 power.

But I would get a Burris Scout 2-7X32.

10 power on that gun doesn’t make sense. 2-7 or similar is where you wanna be.

Yup, I think you guys are right. I've been looking all morning and I can't find anything greater than 2-7 anywhere. I do like that Burris though. I'll do some more digging and review what I get for you guys.

I decided to go with the Burris suggested above. But thanks for the offer, man.
