Default Any 6.5 Grendel users out there?

So lately with starting to reload the AR bug is biting me again... I just got a .277 wolverine built which next year if my lady will get her hunter education she will be using that but I have been interested in the 6.5 Grendel. Due to I can still build a light weight AR for hunting, the BC of the 6.5 bullet, the light recoil, and I don't have to jump up to the AR-10 platform, and still poke out a good ways with it. But is there anything special I need to know besides having a different bolt and different mags? Like is there a better gas system to use over others? Would you recommend the mid length, intermediate which I see a lot with the 18" barrels, or rifle gas system. I will be picking either an 18" or 20" barrel. All opinions and comments are appreciated.

I'd have to check my book but I believe it 27.2gr IMR 8202 behind a 125gr Nosler. Think it's right at 2400 fps.

Nice the build I currently have planned out will weigh around 7.03 lbs with the optics (Vortex HS 4-16X44), scope mount, and the 22" barrel made by satern barrels ($305) which comes with a bolt to. It is a group buy and plenty of barrels left if you or anyone is interested.
