Default 22 Budget build

Hey guys,
After searching high and low for an "affordable" 22 trainer I decided to just build one..
There is a excellent write up on this located on Snipers hide forums

I will not attempt to document mine nearly as well as TP was able too, however I will post my results and personal experience from using his article as a guide.

So far I have done the trigger modification to my rifle and am extremely happy with the results. I was able to take the stock rifle trigger from 6.5lbs to an amazing 2.5 and crisp pull. I still have to shim the sides of the trigger to eliminate the slight side to side wobble it has. This modification was quite easy to accomplish with basic tools and understanding of firearms operation.
My next step will be to shorten the factory barrel by 1-2" and do some stock work.
Stay tuned!
