Default Float Plan section

It seems that there was a crew that went unaccounted for last night. There were found from what I have read so far, but it makes sense to mention 2 suggestions: Float plan section, and a sticky post with phone numbers of members that live near a launch. I am a block away from the navy point ramp, and certainly would have dropped everything to go look for another member had I known. Thoughts?

Because people would not post up saying that they were back etc... So people kept wondering about people. Someone would post on here their float plan and not get back on here for days leaving it open to whether they made it back or not.

Sounds like a good idea. Ban a member for a month, that fails to update their plan, and maybe they would remember.

Marmidor - hope you're talking about me . I developed The Float Plan app for iPhone [www.thefloatplanapp.com ] . If you are, glad to have you as a user and appreciate any feedback you can provide. You can email me straight from the app by clicking Settings -> Send Feedback.

Version 2 is currently in development and I'm hoping it will be ready in a couple of months. I'm really excited about version 2 as several new features are coming (boat photos & calendar reminders to name a few). Even a little surprise in there for you kayakers. BTW, don't use the " symbol in the Boat or Anchor Length fields. This will cause your boat info to not be saved - a small bug also being fixed in version 2. Keep up to date with the latest developments through our Facebook page: facebook.com/bigtunaapps

Be safe out there!
