Default Float Plan??

This has nothing to do with the recent events, but has been on my mind for a while now? Why don't we have a section for filing float plans? Something with where you are going, who is going, what time you depart and return, etc along with a phone number to call if said person does not reply to their float plan to let everybody know they made it back? It seems like a good idea to me. Anyone else got any better suggestions on the topic?

In the past, when people wanted to file them on the forum, they would be filed in the section you were going. (Inshore, Offshore or Bluewater)

BoatUS has a phone app where you can enter a float plan and it will email it to email addresses that you specify. Check it out.

That would work, but they would "scattered" and get buried, imo.
