There needs to be the ability to delete a thread in the For Sale sections.

There is not an option to delete threads for multiple reasons. One is a lot of member like to look at items sold in the past for price references and such. Thanks

Is there a way to update the title of the thread to indicate the item has been sold?

No sir. Even if there was it wouldn't be used as much as you would think. We had the option before and it never was utilized.

Just edit the post and delete everything and put sold in.

For Profit Forums do not want to delete threads, then their activity record is less, as is their value, thus the cost of advertising is less.

This ain't craigslist.

Just do as the pink boy above says, and delete the verbiage within the OP.
