Got a smoker king this morning (report in the kayak section later) and it didn't register until I was cleaning it that I no longer have a smoker after moving. I'm not really in a position to get one right now so I'm seeing if any of y'all have a recipe for cooking fish for dip without a smoker. I was thinking of preparing it the same way I would to smoke then baking it on low heat for a few hours. Maybe a little liquid smoke to make up for the lack thereof. Anyhow, let me know what y'all think.
I have already tried the cedar plank and throw away the fish, but there's just too much fiber in that.
