Default Warm Day at Ft. Pickens

Wind was light out of the south and water was calm with long frequency rollers. Nice warm day. Could not get a keeper trigger or grouper to save my life. Did hook into Mr. Gray Suit.....too late for the PFF tourney?. A huge school of bull reds nearby and one slammed the first ruby red lips I put out immediately. Lots of nasty catfish and undersized triggers and snapper. I did catch this cute little thing - think it's a sea bass.

Nice job man! Yup, that's a Black Sea Bass, Centropristis striata. Pretty unusual to catch em in that close.

At least you got out. A day in the gulf is always greatness regardless of the fishing. Nice Red. Caught a few biguns last week here in Texas
