I'm pretty sure a sailfish would just tow me around forever... But that would be a fun fight! A blackfin would also be a nice catch! I'm stoked to get out there! Been in the car for 10 hours... Got another 6 to go... Then I take a nap and head out to the beach!

Have fun! I'd be out there, except I had back surgery yesterday hope ya nab some bigguns!

Check surf-forecast.com for good predictions on wave height close up to the beach. It's pretty reliable. Wouldn't go out with anything over 2.5 ft. Can be a bit dangerous.

I understand completely. I only get to the coast a few times a year and have to maximize my fishing while there. I cant wait for good weather days. I just have to make do with the days I get.
