Default Trolling bait

I am currently at the beach near Panama City and everyone is sold out of cigar minows. Generally that’s what we use. So I had to pick up small ballyhoos in stead. Will these troll just the same or should I keep searching for cigars?

Have you been trolling with ballyhoos and you been catching any?

Same but break the beaks and you might need a tiny piece of copper wire to get them rigged and running straight.

Trolling any fish, just make sure it isn't spinning in the water

If the tackle shops are out of bait, they often sell bait at Tum Thomb gas stations, Wal Marts, or Dick Sporting goods. You could also call yellow fin ocean sports on 30a, just west of PC. They usually have frozen bait.
