Default Transitioned to a SUP/Need a fishing krew

Hey guys,

I have fished off the beaches in P-Cola a few times in my Tarpon 160 before selling it. I started fishing from kayaks in 1998 in San Diego/La Jolla Shores until moving to the Nola area in 2011. Then I learned to fish the marshes and bayous here with a few trips to Florida where I mainly just caught King Macs while trolling a Rapala off the beach. Unfortunately I don't know any of you and all my trips there led to me going solo.

I am now fishing from a 14' Rackham Bugslinger and I fully intend on going offshore and targeting some bigger fish. There aren't any outlets for SUP fishing and I know there may be a few on here doing it. I don't wanna go solo. I don't know the area well enough.

Anyone going out this weekend, weather permitting....????? ....And when I say weather permitting, I like having a plan B. Even when there is a stiff wind, there are protected waters somewhere. Even if it means going freshwater.

It's a blast, but wait for the right conditions. I sup fish a lot may - august, sunrise until 9am or so. Two rods, one for bait and one for dragging the bait you catch. We've caught kings, cobia and jacks, and hooked tarpon. I haven't gone more than 3/4 mile offshore yet but woul like to try to get a snapper off the board this year.
Be s,art, be safe, and leave a float plan if you go solo.

Yup, I'm really trying to never go solo.
