Default Sup for fishing

Other than the obvious rod holder or leaning post... what qualities would be good to consider for a SUP for fishing if I was going to try to convert a used one. My son is getting hot and heavy into the thought of fly fishing in the sound and I thought that FF from a SUP would be easier that trying to find some super stable kayak.

There was a thread that talked about fly fishing from a SUP not too long ago, but I'll be buggered if I remember where. Can't look right now, but maybe poke around
