Default Skunked again

Iím convinced the fish gods are punishing me lol. Fused from 0630 to 1100. Not even a bite. Launched at oriole beach and usher all the way down to naval live oaks area. Using matrix shad.

Just stick with it, happens to everyone. Live shrimp would likely improve your luck, but if the fish aren't where you are, even that wont work.
What I do when I'm not getting hits is:
Look for a target area, like a cut with water moving through it, a point, a dropoff...
Fan cast in that area looking for strikes. When you get a hit, focus on that spot. This is how I find schooly trout.
If you dont get hits, try a new area.
I also try to slow down my presentation when I'm not getting hits, I just get excited and go too fast sometimes. Good luck, hang in there. Check the tides before you fish too, they will feed at certain times when the water is moving b/c that water flow moves bait and give predators and edge. I use tides4fishing.com.
