Default Saturday Offshore

Hey all! Plan to come down with my Hobie Pro Angler 14’ to Pensacola from Northern MS this upcoming weekend. I’m wanting to do some offshore fishing and I was gonna see if anyone would want to tag along. It’s my first trip offshore so I don’t want to go alone for obvious reasons.

When your looking at the winds speed and direction what exactly are u supposed to be hoping for? I wanted to go on my PA Saturday also but was told it will be too windy. I’m just trying to figure out what to look for in a good day.

I don't like going out in more than 15mph wind. As for direction you don't want the wind blowing away from shore since that will make your paddle back much more difficult. Also don't want the wind pushing you towards a direction you don't want to go, like towards a busy pass or something.
