Well for those of you that don't know, Tex was one of the 5 that got banned. I just wanted to say that I'll miss reading his posts, as just being curious what that dude caught in a given day was the main reason I got on the Yak forum each day.

I assume he got the boot due to his continuous call for whats his name to be banned. This was a bit obsessive maybe. But I sure will miss his reports and unselfish offerings of how to's and tips.

Hell..his fishing reports were so good I wondered if he was using some new gulp dynamite sticks or something!! I do know this..TEX will continue to catch fish I only dream of and he will be sorely miss by me if no one else.

ps..Tex if you read this I was wondering if the fuses on the dynamite sticks are waterproof as I mostly wade fish?oke Atwood

Well this is from last night....

Well I got antsy at about 830 last night and decided to go hit up some lights in search of that monster for the Hobie Trout Challenge. The fishing was crazy good! I caught 15 trout 16-19.5" and 2 reds up to 22". The crazy thing was I only casted about 40 times. I almost always cast about 500 atleast working the topwater. I also threw some dead cigar minnows and everyone of them got eaten. When I went to my best light I picked out a real fat cigar minnow and casted it in the sweet spot and just waited with it sitting on bottom and the BAM he ate....I thought I had the trout I was looking for but about mid way through the fight I know something is not right and I pulled up a 22" red. The lure of the night was the Mirrordine...man they were knockin the crap out of that thing...I could have caught 100 18" trout last night. It was a good time fishing under the stars with lots of action. And yes no fishing trip of mine goes without catching a catfish...And I did catch a nice one =)
