Default Paddle Board Trolling / Site casting help (surf)

I have 2 pole holders attached to my SUP. I was planning on doing some trolling with one pole outback and have another ready to go for site casting. Any recommendations on lures in the surf or just past the 1st drop off? I have heard of using pompano jigs, but im not sure if that is something that can just be trolled along or if it needs more action. I would like to go for Reds or Pompano. Thanks for any help

Right now, duster with a cig or a plain live eel. Troll it along while you look for fish. Add a little weight to get it down towards the bottom. Also you can troll a live hardtail/blue runner. Not many affective lures that I've found to work shallow and trolled slow with a lot of stops. You might try some big 4-6" curly tail grubs.

You can troll with pompano jigs. Tip it with some shrimp too...
