Default New to area

I recently moved to Gulf Breeze with my kayak and I am looking to catch speckled trout. I am located close to Woodlawn Beach Road. Any tips would be appreciated.
I am also interested to join a local kayak fishing club if there is on in the area recommended.

Well you are in the right place. It is awesome fishing from there to Pensacola and from there to Navarre bridge. I have been tearing them up with suspend jerk baits, and matrix and zman 3 shad tails.
What kayak are you using?

Perfect. I look forward to getting out there especially since its literally in my backyard.
Maybe I'll see you out there. MY PDL is red.
I assume the tactics are concentrating fishing the grass right? How deep does the grass grow in the sound?
