Default Navarre bottom fishing?

With state waters closed to pensacola water tower and the limited time left we may have to fish in the gulf, does anyone have any bottom spots they like to share near the navarre pier? I went on the public web site, and couldn't find any coordinates within kayaking distance. Thanks

Chaps, do not think there are any there in that area around the pier. Never read anyone posting or mentioning any bottom fish caught around the pier area. Likely reason is Navarre pier is a long way from any passes for boats to come to and maybe make a private reef and then eventually someone finding out and the numbers get passed around.

Next few days may be some of the last to fish there anyway, because likely closure down past there all the way to Destin in State Waters because all the oil slick and tar balls coming in.

Nothing close to Navarre that I am aware of either. That's why most of us wish they put the old peir rubble off of Navarre instead of over in Pcola beach

I've heard cobia fishermen say they've found some natural bottom spots out that way while cruising for cobes and I've seen the pics of some big gags pulled off of them

myself, but I don't have the numbers. Before I had a bottom machine and gps on my yak I had a hardtail on get snagged on some bottom off of opal beach so I know theres some

stuff out there. It might not have much relief and probably gets covered and exsposed frequently. Sorry I know it doesn't really help you much tho

hopefully someone has some numbers... the new deployments off of Fort Pickens, though closed, have not been providing much according to what I have read on PFF. Navarre is the next closest place for and whould love to catch something reef oriented... there used to rubble off to the east between the split of the old piers but probably covered up now.
