Default might be heading to Tampa need advice.

I think I'm going to take a quick 3-4 day vacation somewhere in the tampa bay area, bradenton beach probably. I am hoping to rent a kayak, or do a guided kayak trip while I'm there, and was hoping that someone here could recommend either a guide, place to rent a yak, or just give me a heads up what to expect fishing to be like this time of year. Thanks in advance.

Theres tons of great spots to fish down there. Anna Maria island, rattlesnake key, Ft Desoto, Boca Ciega Bay, etc, etc. If you can get out at night, try some of the lights along Boca Ciega Bay. This time last year we had very good luck there between Madeira Beach and Indian Rocks.

Go with Jason Stock if you want a guide...he is on some crazy fish as of this morning. If not launch at the cockroach bay boat ramp and head south. Work the mangrove edges and mullet schools with a gold spoon and throw a spook jr on the grass for trout. GL!

You might also want to do a search, this topic came up a month or 2 ago and a lot of good suggestions were already posted.

Good luck man, lets see a report when you get done.
