I have been wanting to get myself a kayak for a while now. I have someone wanting to sell a Malibu X-factor 14 for $700. It's pre 2017 so no X-seat It has a paddle (don't know what paddle), fish finder (said it was a $350 finder) and mount, battery, anchor and trolley, beach wheels, and other extras. I don't know everything he is including as I just found out about this today so I have yet to actually see it but I know the man takes extremely good care of his stuff.
I know absolutely NOTHING about kayaks. I want to use it for inshore, floundering, river and near shore after I get some time spent on the water.
Good buy or no?
Good kayak or no?
Easy to paddle and tracks well?
Washington is playing their ignorant and ill-informed constituency like an organ grinder plays his monkey. The monkey shuts up and does what he's told, as long as he gets his banana. There is no difference in Washington. They squander the blood sweat and tears of the hard working, tax paying Americans and lie to them when they're caught. Needing their ever-increasing supply of bananas, the trained monkeys will continue to dance for their bananas.

Thats a good deal on that yak. I have a stealth 12, which the hull is very close to the xfactor, and all i do is offshore in it. You wont break any speed records but its stable, tracks straight and paddles well. Its nice having a wide beam in a yak. I say go for it for that price
